Be Your Real ID Self. Deadline: May 7, 2025. Visit Real-ID for more information.
The airport does not offer currency exchange services. We recommend you contact your local bank to exchange foreign currency.
The airlines and TSA require adult passengers 18 and over to show valid identification for domestic travel within the United States, such as a driver’s license, passport or one of these. (Note: new Real ID requirements effective May 23, 2023). While the TSA does not require ID for children under 18, some airlines have requirements for domestic travel by minors. Contact the airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18. Adults and children must have a passport when flying internationally.
The TSA understands passengers occasionally arrive at the airport without an ID, due to lost items or inadvertently leaving them at home. Not having an ID does not necessarily mean a passenger won’t be allowed to fly. The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name, current address, and other personal information to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint. You will be subject to additional screening, to include a patdown and screening of carry-on property.
You will not be allowed to enter the security checkpoint if your identity cannot be confirmed, you choose to not provide proper identification or you decline to cooperate with the identity verification process.
The airport opens at 3:45 a.m., and the security checkpoint opens at 4:00 a.m. until the last flight has departed. The hours for airline ticket counters vary depending on each airline’s flight schedule.
Airlines suggest that you arrive 75 minutes before departure of domestic flights and two hours before international flights.
Carry-on bags should measure 22″ x 14″ x 9″. These measurements include any handles or wheels. Passengers are limited to one carry-on plus one personal item, such as a purse, backpack or laptop bag.
For lost luggage questions, contact your airline.
